Derby Printing Company is a full service commercial printer in Louisville, Kentucky, doing full color printing, direct mail and everything in between. Same address on South 4th Street, same family behind the counter, four decades in.
We are a union printshop, affiliated with the Graphic Communications International Union, which is part of why so much of our work comes from locals, churches, small contractors and neighborhood businesses who want the job done by people they can actually talk to.

Contact UsHow much does a print job cost?
Estimates are free and we quote off the real job, not a range. One example already on the counter: 100 full color letterheads and envelopes for $68, printed on white 60# Husky offset with envelopes on white smooth 24# wove stock. Call with quantity, size and colors and you get a number.
How fast can you turn a job around?
Quick turnaround is the reason most of our customers stay. Business cards, flyers and forms usually run within a few days once the proof is approved, and short digital runs can move faster. Tell us the date you need it and we will tell you straight whether it fits.
Do I need finished artwork?
No. We do typesetting and graphic design in house, so a sketch, an old printed piece or a rough file is enough to start. You approve a proof before anything goes on press.
Are you a union shop?
Yes. Derby Printing is a union printshop, affiliated with the Graphic Communications International Union, GCIU, which matters to a lot of the organizations and locals we print for in Louisville.
Where are you and can I come by?
We are at 1135 S 4th St in Louisville, open Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays by appointment. Walking in with a sample in hand is often the fastest way to get a job started.
Do you take small jobs?
Small or large, both. A hundred cards for a new business gets the same press check as a ten thousand piece mailing.
